{"id":578,"date":"2023-05-11T18:51:31","date_gmt":"2023-05-11T17:51:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.prestafusion.com\/blog\/?page_id=578"},"modified":"2023-05-18T12:58:16","modified_gmt":"2023-05-18T11:58:16","slug":"customer-group-stock-override","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.prestafusion.com\/blog\/documentation\/customer-group-stock-override","title":{"rendered":"Customer Group Stock Override"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"introduction\">Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Customer Group Stock Override modules allows you to allow or prevent the purchase of out of stock items in your store according to specific customer groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"installation\">Installation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The installation procedure is very much similar to most other Prestashop modules. No core changes are required therefore installation is straight forward. Be sure to follow the instructions below for a successful installation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Upload the module folder to your store\u2019s module folder: <code>{root}\/modules\/<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After uploading the module, in the Prestashop Back Office, head over the to the <strong>Modules<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for the module and choose the <strong>install<\/strong> option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After a successful installation the module is ready to be used. Initially the module\u2019s main configuration page will be displayed. We\u2019ll take a look on how to use the module below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"configuration\">Configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/documentation-images\/customergroupstockoverride\/configuration-installation.jpg\" alt=\"Configuring the module\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The module configuration page will allow you to set the behaviour of out of stock products according to individual customer groups in your store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When configuring the module you should be presented with a list of  customer groups in your store. Each customer group will have an associated drop down option list allowing you to select the behaviour for that particular group.
